Who Is Yan Bastian, Director Of Indomaret, Who Died Due To An Accident On Cipularang Toll Road?

JAKARTA - PT Indomarco Prismatama is in mourning. The Indomaret manager was recently abandoned by their Merchandising Director, Yan Bastian, who died in an accident on the Cipularang KM 91 Toll Road towards Jakarta on Saturday, October 16.

Maybe many do not know the figure of Yan Bastian. Marketing Director of Indomarco, Wiwiek Yusuf, in his statement to reporters explained, Yan Bastian has been pursuing a career at Indomaret since the company was founded in 1988.

Known as a friendly person, the deceased is considered to have made a major contribution to the company in the field of developing and determining the products sold at the retail giant owned by conglomerate Anthony Salim. The big family of Indomaret also expressed their deep condolences for the passing of Yan Bastian.

"Indomaret lost one of its best sons with the passing of Yan Bastian Merchandising Director of PT Indomarco Prismatama," said Wiwiek Yusuf.

As is known, a container truck overturned at Km 91 of the Cipularang Toll Road towards Jakarta, hitting a Hyundai SUV at around 17:25 western Indonesia time, Saturday, October 16 last. One person reportedly died who was the driver of the car, while seven others were injured.

"On behalf of the management and employees, we feel deeply saddened by the sudden departure of Mr. Yan Bastian. Our colleagues and friends. May his spirit be accepted by God and his family will be given strength," explained Wiwiek.
