President Jokowi Is Scheduled To Inaugurate The Alalak Barito Bridge, Kuala South Kalimantan On October 21

BANJARMASIN - Chairman of the Regional Representative Council (DPRD) of South Kalimantan Province, H Supian HK said President Joko Widodo would inaugurate the Alalak Bridge, Barito Kuala (Batola) Regency.

"God willing, the President will inaugurate the Alalak Bridge, October 21, 2021," said the chairman of the South Kalimantan DPRD in Banjarmasin, quoted by Antara, Thursday, October 14.

The plan for the inauguration of the Alalak Batola Bridge is based on information from the Presidential Secretariat.

"We are grateful to Mr. President Jokowi who is willing to inaugurate the Alalak Bridge, although it is not a mega project, but it is very urgent in supporting the smooth transportation between South Kalimantan - Central Kalimantan (Central Kalimantan)," said Supian HK.

The proposed name for the Alalak Bridge, which cost more than IDR 270 billion, included the late H Aberani Sulaiman (former Governor of South Kalimantan), the late Major General ZA Maulani (former Pangdam VI/Tanjung Pura and the late South Kalimantan regional figure HA Sulaiman HB.

President Jokowi's arrival to the "Bumi Perjuangan Pangeran Antasari" or "Bumi Lambung Mangkurat" South Kalimantan is planned to simultaneously inaugurate a biodiesel factory in Tanah Bumbu Regency (Tanbu).

The biodiesel factory owned by PT Jhonlin Agro Raya, which is downstream from crude palm oil (CPO), is the first in South Kalimantan.
