Rachel Vennya Escapes Quarantine, Minister Of Health: She Should Have Been In Quarantine Again And Punished So She Doesn't Break The Rules
LEBAK - Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin said the celebrity Rachel Vennya who violated quarantine rules after traveling abroad during the COVID-19 pandemic could pose a risk to the public. The Minister of Health called that Rachel Vennya must be punished so as not to repeat the violation.
Budi emphasized that the quarantine carried out in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic was not only for personal interests, but for the benefit of the community.
"If she violates that, she poses a risk to the public, to the public," said Budi in Lebak, Banten, quoted by Antara, Thursday, October 14.
Budi said that Rachel Vennya, who violated the quarantine rules should be punished so that they would not commit another violation, but he was not in the main task of giving the punishment.
Therefore, the Minister of Health suggested that Rachel Vennya immediately return to quarantine, and not violate the quarantine regulations.
"Yes, she should be in quarantine again soon. She should be in quarantine again and punished so she doesn't violate it again," he said.

Previously, Kodam Jaya found an individual member of the National Armed Force (TNI) who served in the Security Task Force at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, allegedly arranging for the Rachel Vennya program to escape quarantine after returning from abroad.
"During the investigation of the case, it was found that there were allegations of non-procedural actions by unscrupulous members of the Soetta Airport Security TNI with the initials FS," said Head of Information for the Jaya Kodam, Air Defense Artillery Colonel (Arh) Herwin BS.
Herwin revealed, from the results of the temporary investigation, it was found that FS arranged for Rachel's program to avoid the quarantine procedures that must be followed after traveling from abroad.
According to him, Kodam Jaya as the Command of the COVID-19 Integrated Joint Task Force, is conducting an investigation into Rachel Vennya's escape from quarantine at the Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Emergency Hospital (RSDC) in Pademangan, North Jakarta.
