Rarely Used During A Pandemic, Now Ngurah Rai Airport Immigration Autogate Computers And Devices Are Checked Ahead Of International Flights
BADUNG - Ahead of the opening of international flights in Bali on October 14, dozens of computers and applications for Immigration Checkpoints (TPI) at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali, were checked again.
There are 32 units of computer equipment that are checked at the arrival terminal and 20 units at the departure terminal. This check is to ensure that it can operate normally because the device and application has been almost 2 years since the pandemic has rarely been used.
"Actually, it is (it's not) or has never been used. Yesterday there was repatriation of people returning to their country. Because we don't use it continuously, it means we need to make sure that for this 14th, everything can be useful as usual," said the Head of Facilities and Communications Immigration Office Class I Ngurah Rai Putu Suhendra, Tuesday, 12 October.
In addition to checking computer equipment and applications, autogate devices have also started to be checked again. There are 6 units at the arrival terminal and 10 units at the departure terminal at Ngurah Rai Airport.

According to Suhendra, since the COVID-19 pandemic, devices and applications have only been used for foreigners who have been repatriated from Bali to their country. Meanwhile for arrivals during the pandemic it is not operated because international flights are closed.
Meanwhile, for other preparations for the opening of international flights, Ngurah Rai Airport has prepared health protocols for officers.
The opening of international flights refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights (Permenkumham) number 34 of 2021, for Foreign Citizens (WNA) who enter Indonesia.
"To enter foreign nationals, we still pay attention to referring to Ministerial Regulation number 34. That is, anyone who can enter Indonesia, namely service visa holders, diplomatic visas, Kitas holders and Kitap holders, visit visa holders," said Suhendra.
