Denpasar Tourism Office Prepares 9 Hotels In Sanur To Quarantine Foreign Tourists
DENPASAR - A total of 9 hotels, from 3 to 5 stars, are prepared to quarantine foreign tourists who will come to the island of Bali.
Head of the Denpasar City Regional Tourism Office, MA Dezire Mulyani, said the 9 hotels were centered in the Sanur area, Denpasar which was included in the green zone area.
"For Denpasar, all of them are in Sanur, there are 9 hotels. There are 5 and 3 stars and a total of 270 rooms", said Dezire, when contacted, Tuesday, October 12.
The 5-star hotels prepared for the quarantine of foreign tourists are Hyatt Regency and Maya Sanur. For 4-star hotels, namely Hotel Prime Plaza Suites Sanur, Swiss-Belresort Watu Jimbar, Maison Aurelia, and Hotel Sudamala. Then for 3 star hotels are Griyan Santrian Hotel, Taksu Sanur Hotel, Tandjung Sari.
Tourism Office has not been able to explain the hotel rates for 5 days of quarantine for foreign tourists. However, he hopes the hotels will set an economical or standard rate for foreign tourists undergoing quarantine.
“It is directed that online bookings made by hotels and hotel rates do not differ. Because if it's online it's cheaper than the hotel is expensive. That, the prices at the hotel and (online) are set the same", she said.

Meanwhile, for the target number of foreign tourists visiting tourist attractions in the Denpasar area, Tourism Office has not been able to predict. However, it hopes that a third of foreign tourists visit Bali.
"Hopefully, there will be as many as possible, but we don't know yet which countries visited Indonesia, it is still determined by the center, there are only about 6 countries", said Dezire.
