Hopefully The 1.256 Beds In Bangka Belitung COVID-19 Centralized Isolation Will Never Be Used Again
JAKARTA - The Bangka Belitung Islands Province COVID-19 Handling Task Force has good news. Of the 1.334 available beds, 1.256 mattresses in 89 Centralized Isolation (Isoters) have not been filled with COVID-19 patients.
"Today, 78 beds are occupied by COVID-19 patients, while 1.256 are unused," said Secretary of the Babel Islands Province COVID-19 Handling Task Force Mikron Antariksa in Pangkalpinang, Monday, October 11.
The details are 1.256 beds that have not been used by COVID-19 patients spread over 118 units in Isoter, Babel Islands Province; Pangkalpinang 26; Central Bangka 192; South Bangka 90; West Bangka 218; Bangka 159; Belitung 257 and Belitung Timur 196 units.
Meanwhile, as many as 78 units were used by COVID-19 patients spread across 55 West Bangka, seven Central Bangka, two Bangka, eight Belitung, four Pangkalpinang, and two Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) Bangka Belitung units.
"Currently 78 of the 510 COVID-19 patients are undergoing isolation at Isoter, while 318 other patients are undergoing self-isolation," he said, quoted by Antara.
Based on the latest data, cases of people exposed to COVID-19 increased by 26 with a cumulative 51.616 people, patients recovered from COVID-19 increased by 44 with a cumulative 49.722 people and patients died increased by 3 with a total of 1.415 people.

Meanwhile, there were 25.333 suspected cases, 50.591 close contacts with COVID-19 patients, 35 probable cases, and 39 probable deaths.
He hoped that although COVID-19 cases had decreased, the public was asked to always follow health protocols and follow this COVID-19 vaccination.
"We hope that the public will always follow the rules set by the government. Do not let this case increase again, because of people's negligence to carry out vaccinations and health promotions," he said.
