Nia Dinata Releases A World Without Film Trailer, Presents Mystery And Tension

JAKARTA - The latest Indonesian film A World Without will soon be released globally on 14 October. Directed by Nia Dinata who co-wrote the script with Lucky Kuswandi, the film is set in the not-so-distant future, where a mysterious organization called The Light promises to help its members become the best versions of themselves.

But when three friends discover the true side of The Light, there is no other way for them but to escape. Ahead of its release, A World Without released its first trailer, which gives a glimpse of the tension that awaits.

Quoted from the official Netflix broadcast on Sunday, October 10, the scene begins with two teenage girls who seem to be questioning their decision after joining The Light. Salina (Amanda Rawles) is determined to escape, so this immediately raises the question - what really happened in The Light?

The trailer continues with an interesting depiction of The Light which contrasts with the tension at the beginning. New members are greeted with beautiful scenery and various advanced technologies.

The founder of The Light Ali Khan (Chicco Jerikho) and his wife Sofia (Ayushita) are also seen welcoming the new members. Charismatically, Ali Khan promised to create a bright future for its members. Happy faces can be seen as they begin to live a new life at The Light.
