JAKARTA - Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo along with his wife and entourage from his ministry visited the Merah Putih Building of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta on Thursday, October 7.

To investigate, he came to participate in the strengthening of anti-corruption in the PAKU Integrity program organized by the anti-corruption commission for state officials.

"Along with my wife (me, ed) were asked and invited by the KPK in the context of the PAKU Integrity, strengthening anti-corruption state officials with integrity," Syahrul told reporters.

He said this kind of program is important for state officials, especially in the Ministry of Agriculture. The goal is that in the future government policies can be implemented properly and away from corrupt practices.

"I see that there are three important things in this PAKU Integrity. That is, provision on intellectual and academic intellectual agendas so that how to prevent, how not to get involved in corruption and this is very important. In addition to preventing corruption, Syahrul considers this program to be able to produce leadership attitudes that are in accordance with ethics and morality and deepen knowledge about good governance.

Syahrul hopes that in the future the anti-corruption prevention program can be carried out not only at the central level but also at the regional level, of course in collaboration with the KPK.
