BLITAR - The Garum Sector Police of Blitar Regency, East Java, participated in handling the case of the alleged murder of a wife in Bence Village, Blitar Regency.
Garum Police Chief Iptu Burhanudin said the report about the death of the victim named Elvi Novianti (47) was received by his party in the early hours of this morning at around 02.30 WIB.
"At that time, the witness (the victim's child) reported in his house finding his mother injured and covered in blood. From this information we went to the crime scene (TKP) and processed the crime scene with the Blitar Police identification team," he said in Blitar, as reported by Antara, Thursday, October 7th.
He said that from the results of the temporary crime scene, the victim, Elvi Novianti (47) was found to have bruises or cracks on the left side of his head. The victim's ears and nose were also bleeding.
Burhan said the initial chronology of the victim's findings began with the victim's child who had just returned from work on Thursday morning at around 01.00 WIB. At that time, the witness entered through the side door of the house because the front door was locked.
As soon as he entered the room, he saw that his mother had been injured. At the time of the incident, his father (the victim's husband) was also not in the house. "Until the crime scene, the victim's husband was not at the location, we did not find it," he said.
From the family's information, this husband and wife are in the middle of a problem. The day before the incident, the husband of the victim was found lying under a railway bridge. The location is about 500 meters from the victim's house. There was a wound on the head of SU (57), Elva's husband.
Currently, SU is still being treated at the hospital for the healing process. Later, officers will also conduct interrogation on the person concerned regarding the finding of his wife's body.
Meanwhile, the body is currently in Mardi Waluyo Hospital, Blitar City. An autopsy will be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
