COVID-19 Update As Of October 6th: 1,484 New Cases, 2,851 Recoveries
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 274,439 specimens were examined with the result that there were 1,484 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,223,094 people and 28,381 active cases", said Ministry of Health data, Wednesday, October 6.
Today's recovered cases increased by 2,851 cases, bringing the total to 4,052,300 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 75 people and a total of 142,413 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 203 cases and a total of 858,622 cases. Followed by Central Java with 166 new cases with a total of 482,610 cases. East Java has 158 new cases and a total of 396,202 cases. Then, West Java with 104 new cases and a total of 703,423 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today is East Java with an additional 197 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an additional 159 recovered cases, South Sulawesi with an additional 131 recovered cases, and East Kalimantan with an additional 123 recovered cases.
