Bobby Nasution Lowers The Positions Of 2 Medan Service Heads To Become Heads Of Field

MEDAN - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution demoted 2 echelon II officials within the Medan City Government. Previously, the two officials served as head of the department and are now given the position of head of the field.

The two officials are Khairunnisa, who previously served as Head of the Office for Women's Empowerment, Child Protection and Community Empowerment, and Syarif Armansyah Lubis, who previously served as Head of the Environment Agency.

Currently, Khairunnisa is the head of the field at the Department of Industry and Syarif Armansyah Lubis is the head of the field at the Department of Agriculture and Marine Affairs.

When confirmed regarding the decline of the two officials, Bobby said that he only forwarded a letter from the Inspectorate.

"Try asking the inspectorate, I just forwarded the letter from there," said Bobby Nasution.

President Jokowi's son-in-law said that he had a basis for demoting the two officials. However, Bobby Nasution was reluctant to reveal in detail the reason for his lowering of the position.

"But I can't just take it down without a foundation. I just run from what the letter was given to me," he explained.

"Ask the Inspectorate, they explain in more detail. Later I will explain it wrong, it's difficult later," he said when asked again by reporters about the demotion of the two heads of staff.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) Medan, Maj. Harahap, said that the reduction in the position of the head of service to become the head of the field had received the green light from the State Civil Apparatus Commission (KASN).

"It is in accordance with the provisions, there is a recommendation from KASN," the king told reporters separately.

His Majesty said that the two former heads of services who became heads of fields had been officially sworn in on Wednesday, September 29.

"In the morning for echelon II inauguration, in the afternoon for echelon III or head of division," he said.
