The Convict In The Theft Case Escaped From The Bali Kerobokan Prison, Now Wanted
DENPASAR - An inmate named I Gede Loka Wijaya escaped from the Class II A Penitentiary in Kerobokan, Badung Regency, Bali.
The prisoner was imprisoned for theft. Loka Wijaya was sentenced to 3 years in prison and only served a sentence of about 1 year and 1 month.
"He is a theft case, he is more or less serving a sentence of approximately 1 year and 1 month. The sentence is 3 years," said Head of Class II-A Kerobokan Headquarters, Fikri Jaya Soebing, when contacted Wednesday, October 6.
They do not know how the prisoner escaped. What is certain is that on Monday night, October 4, the prisoner had disappeared when officers checked the prison.
"That night the team held a resident's apple. Then, after checking, it was discovered that there was one missing.
"Do a search and traces. At this time, we are still checking more deeply through the CCTV we have and also manual traces. For example, there are also footprints or something," said Fikri.

The Kerobokan Prison Team formed a team to search for escaped convicts. The prison is also coordinating with the Badung Police, Bali, to re-arrest the prisoner.
"We are still investigating his friends and finding out where the information is. The name of the prisoner is I Gede Loka Wijaya. We have coordinated with the Resort Police," said Fikri.
