Posing Together After Beating City, Mbappe, Messi And Neymar Are Now On The Same 'page'
JAKARTA - Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) successfully silenced Manchester City 2-0 in their Champions League Group A match at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday morning.
The Parisian club was able to pick up all three points thanks to goals from Idrissa Gueye and Lionel Messi's first goal at his new club since leaving Barcelona.
The goal that PSG fans have been waiting for from Messi has finally arrived, after in his first few games, the Argentine star has not shown sharpness and continues to be bombarded with criticism.
Messi played a one-two with Kylian Mbappe with the French striker's backheel perfectly getting into the Argentina captain's path allowing La Pulga to fire a shot into the top right corner of Ederson's goal.
Mbappe's dissatisfaction with Neymar last weekend did not appear early this morning. Yes, the three PSG strikers, MNM, were even very happy by posing together after the match.
Neymar posted the photo on social media and seemed to mark the end of any discontent, at least for now.
What was shown in the performance against City is that PSG, led by Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe has been on the European continent's attention.
And of course, now Messi is on the same page as Mbappe and Neymar.
This result makes PSG take over the top of Group A with a collection of 4 points. Meanwhile, City has to drop to 3rd place with 3 points.
