Reached 67 Million Viewers, 'Sex/Life' Series Continues To Season Two
JAKARTA - Netflix announced that the Sex/Life series will continue into a second season on Monday, September 27. In addition, they shared the news that the first season has been watched by more than 67 million users since its release last May.
This number is considered high and makes Sex/Life one of the most-watched Netflix content besides Bridgerton and The Witcher.
Reportedly some of the original players will return to join this second season, including Sarah Shahi, Mike Vogel, Adam Demos, and Margaret Odette. Production will take place in Toronto.
Sex/Life is an original series directed by Stacy Rukeyser. The series tells the story of a love triangle between a woman, her husband, and her ex-lover who fulfills her desires.

Billie Connelly (Sarah Shahi) is a cheerful and lively woman in New York. Since becoming a housewife, Billie often feels lonely because she takes care of her two children alone. This makes Billie imagine her relationship with Brad (Adam Demos).
Her husband, Cooper (Mike Vogel) is busy at work so he rarely interacts with Billie. One time he discovered the fact that Billie was related to someone named Brad.
The series is inspired by the novel 44 Chapters about 4 Men by BB Easton. Rukeyser, who is also a producer, feels that this series presents a woman's point of view that is rarely shared through other series. However, Netflix has yet to announce when the second season of Sex/Life will be released.
