Police Arrest Four BPPKB Members Who Beat PP Members To Death In Cianjur
CIANJUR - Police arrested four perpetrators who caused the death of members of the Pancasila Youth Organization who were involved in clashes on the Cianjur-Sukabumi border, West Java, suspected members of the BPPKB (Banten Family Potential Development Agency) mass organization who were detained in several different locations.
Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit Cianjur Police, AKP Anton said the four suspects, members of the BPPKB, were arrested several hours after the clashes that left a member of Pemuda Pancasila dead.
"It didn't take long, after receiving witness statements, we immediately arrested the four perpetrators. The four people are members of the BPPKB", he said in Cianjur, West Java, as reported by Antara, Monday, September 27.
The suspect was proven to have mistreated the victim, starting from beating him up to slashing him with a sharp weapon until he died. The victim died with multiple stab wounds all over his body.
Until now, he added, the police are still hunting for other perpetrators who were involved in the clashes and had ganged up on the victim. "There are other perpetrators, our members are still chasing them", he said.
In addition to arresting the four suspects, the police also detained five other people, but the five people are still witnesses. "Five people were detained as witnesses, two from BPPKB and three from Pemuda Pancasila", he said.
