Reject Plenary Interpellation Formula E, 7 Fractions Will Report Chairman Of DKI DPRD To The Honorary Board Of The Council
JAKARTA - Seven factions of the DKI DPRD (Regional House of Representatives) did not accept the decision of the Chairman of the DKI DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, who determined that the plenary meeting to determine the Interpellation of Formula E was held tomorrow.
The seven factions are the Gerindra Party, PKS, PAN, Golkar, Nasdem, Democrats, and PKB-PPP. They start to reject the council's proposed interpellation rights regarding Formula E.
Deputy Chairman of the DKI DPRD from the Democratic Faction, Misan Samsuri, considers that the determination of the interpellation schedule violates the rules. Therefore, Misan said the seven factions would report the Chairman of the DKI DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, to the Honorary Board of the DKI DPRD.
"Together with my friends, this violation will be brought to the Honorary Board. Let the public know that the DPRD has done something bad", said Misan when met in the Central Jakarta area, Monday, September 27.
The Honorary Board (BK) of the DKI DPRD consists of 9 members of the DKI DPRD with the Chairman of the BK Achmad Nawawi from the Democratic Faction. The BK DPRD DKI is tasked with enforcing rules and regulations related to the council's code of ethics.
Continuing, Deputy Chairman of the DKI DPRD Mohamad Taufik said that his party would report Prasetyo to the BK on Tuesday, September 28. Taufik considers that the interpellation plenary schedule decided by Prasetyo violates Article 80 Paragraph 3 of Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2020 concerning the Order of the DKI DPRD.
The plenary schedule for the interpellation was decided at the Jakarta DPRD Deliberative Body (Bamus) meeting this morning. However, said Taufik, there was no inclusion of the Formula E interpellation in the discussion list of the previous Bamus invitation.
In this case, the interpellation discussion was inserted during the Bamus meeting. "There are seven agendas (in the invitation to the Bamus meeting). The interpellation agenda does not exist", said Taufik.
Therefore, Taufik asserted, the seven factions will not attend the plenary meeting because the agenda is considered illegal.
"Seven factions and four deputy chairmen of the DKI DPRD stated that the plenary meeting held on Tuesday, September 28 was not appropriate to attend because it was an illegal act", he explained.

Previously, the Chairman of the DKI DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, as well as the Chairman of the Bamus DPRD, said that the interpellation plenary meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 10:00 WIB.
"After the work plan, proposals, are all discussed and finished. There are proposals from 2 factions, right because the statute says 15 people are enough for the interpellation, scheduled earlier, it will be approved. Tomorrow is the plenary session", said Prasetyo.
The plenary meeting that will be held tomorrow is to determine whether the DPRD will conduct an interpellation or not. Interpellation is regulated in DKI Jakarta DPRD Regulation Number 1 of 2020, specifically in Chapter VIII concerning the Implementation of the Rights of DPRD and Members of DKI DPRD.
Article 120 explains that the right of interpellation is the right of the DPRD to request information from the governor regarding regional government policies that are important and strategic and have a broad impact on the life of society and the state.
