COVID-19 Update As Of 27 September: 1.390 New Cases, 3.771 Recovered Cases
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 214.591 specimens were examined with the result that there were 1.390 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4.209.403 people and 40.270 active cases," said Ministry of Health data, Monday, September 27.
Today's recovered cases increased by 3.771 cases, bringing the total to 4.027.548 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died increased by 118 people and a total of 141.585 people.
The province with the newest cases was in Central Java with 185 cases and a total of 481.358 cases. Followed by West Java which has 149 new cases with a total of 702.217 cases. DKI Jakarta has 103 new cases and a total of 857.335 cases. Then, East Java has 92 new cases and a total of 394.876 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 429 recovered cases. Followed by North Sumatra with an additional 316 recovered cases, East Java with an additional 287 recovered cases, and DKI Jakarta with an additional 251 recovered cases.

There is one province that reported no new cases today, namely Maluku. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 38.291.015.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 1.51 percent," he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 388.341 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 87.162.526 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 48.915.476 the second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 909.407. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208.265.720 people.
