Warning For Cibinong-Bojonggede-Sukaraja Residents, Be Prepared For Possible Floods Starting Tomorrow
JAKARTA - Bogor Regent Ade Yasin reminded his residents to be aware of potential flooding. There are 18 sub-districts in the Bogor Regency, West Java that may be affected by flooding from 28-29 September 2021, according to the forecasts of the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).
"I invite the people of Bogor Regency to be aware of natural disasters, such as floods, landslides, and tornadoes," said Ade, Monday, September 27.
Ade then explained which sub-districts have the potential for flooding or flash floods in those two days. Starting from Klapanunggal, Gunungputri, Cibungbulang, Cibinong, Bojonggede, Kemang, Rancabungur, Dramaga, Sukaraja, Ciampea, Ciomas, Tamansari, Babakan Madang, Ciawi, Citeureup, Cijeruk, Tenjolaya, to Pamijahan.
He said, based on the impact-based weather forecast (IBF) from the BMKG, as many as 18 sub-districts had flood and flash flood alert status.
Ade Yasin also appealed to people living in hilly areas and watersheds to be more careful. Several rivers flow in Bogor Regency such as Cileungsi, Cikeas, Cidurian, Cibanten, Cisadane, Cibeet and Ciliwung.
