A Developer Company In Banten To Build Building On Land That Is Confiscated By KPK
JAKARTA - The development company in Banten was determined to build a building on seven lands confiscated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
The land was confiscated by the Corruption Eradication Commission in the case of money laundering (TPPU) which ensnared Tubagus Chaeri Wardana alias Wawan based on the Confiscation Order Number: Sprin.Sita-06/01/01/2014 dated January 15, 2014.
Confirmed regarding this matter, Acting KPK Spokesman Ali Fikri said his party had received information and checked directly at the location of the land. From this activity, the KPK confirmed that seven parcels of land on Jalan Sewor, Banjarsari Village, Cipocok District, Serang City, Banten which were confiscated have been controlled by other parties.
He said the KPK had verbally requested that the activity be stopped because its status was still being confiscated by the KPK. However, PT Bangun Mitra Jaya still insists on carrying out its activities and feels that it has rights to the land.
"KPK then sent a letter of complaint over the control of the confiscated land to the Banten Regional Police on September 2, 2021," Ali told reporters on Monday, September 27.
Furthermore, Ali said the case that ensnared Wawan had permanent legal force or inkrah. In the panel's decision, it was stated that the seven plots of land were returned to the confiscated parties.

Furthermore, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will carry out executions by returning the assets to the confiscated parties after the land tenure issue is resolved.
"KPK hopes that this will be a lesson for all parties, that assets confiscated by law enforcement officers for the benefit of the process of handling a case should not be controlled by other parties," said Ali.
For information, seven plots of land are being confiscated by the KPK on behalf of former Mayor Airin Rachmi Diany, who is none other than the wife of Tubagus Chaeri Wardana alias Wawan.
