Bank DKI Records First Half 2021 Profit Up 40 Percent Compared To Last Year

JAKARTA - Corporate Secretary of Bank DKI, Herry Djufraini, said that this regional company recorded an increase in profits compared to last year.

In the first semester or as of June 2021, Bank DKI earned a profit of IDR 394 billion. This achievement rose 40.8 percent on a year-on-year (YoY) basis from IDR 279 billion as of June 2020.

Herry explained that there were a number of other financial performance indicators of Bank DKI that also experienced significant YoY growth as of June 2021.

"Several indicators that experienced significant growth were third party funds (DPK), lending, and assets. Then, non-performing loans (NPLs) also showed improved YoY performance as of June 2021", said Herry in his statement, Tuesday, September 14.

In this achievement, Herry said that Bank DKI won the award as the Best Regional-owned Enterprises (BUMD) in the TOP of the TOP BUMD 2021 and TOP #BPD – 5 Stars at the TOP BUMD Awards 2021 organized by Top Business magazine.

The TOP BUMD 2021 award was given to Bank DKI based on the results of a jury assessment consisting of practitioners and business consultants.

The variables assessed are the achievements, improvements, and contributions of BUMDs related to performance, business, services, and contributions to the regional economy.

"Representing all levels of Bank DKI management, we thank you for the awards that have been given, especially to all customers and work partners of Bank DKI for their trust in using Bank DKI products and services so that Bank DKI can continue to grow amidst the COVID-19 pandemic", he explained.

In addition to Bank DKI, a number of DKI Jakarta BUMDs also received awards, namely MRT, JIEP, Sarana Jaya, and Jaktour.

The increase in the achievements of DKI Jakarta BUMD in the 2021 Top BUMD award has made DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan the Top BUMD coach for 2021.
