For information, the government decided to extend the PPKM in Java and Bali from September 14 to 20, 2021. In the extension of the PPKM for the next week, many regions experienced a decrease in the level of assessment.
"In the implementation of PPKM that was carried out until last week, the government finally succeeded in lowering the province of Bali to Level 3. So from 11 cities/districts level 4 last week, today the number has decreased to only 3 cities/regencies only," said Luhut.
In addition, Luhut emphasized that the government will continue to implement PPKM for a long time. This answers many people's questions.
"The government confirms that it will continue to apply this PPKM Level in all areas of Java and Bali and evaluate it every week to reduce the number of confirmed cases and not to repeat the same incident in the future," he explained.
