Holding Ultra Micro Is In Sight, This Is The Long Process Of Formation
JAKARTA - The establishment of Ultra Micro Holding is entering its final stage. This was marked by the signing of the transfer of state shares to PT Pegadaian (Persero) and PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (Persero) or PNM to PT Bank BRI (Persero) Tbk worth IDR 54.7 trillion.
Head of Project Management Officer (PMO) Ultra Micro Ecosystem Integration, Catur Budi Harto revealed that the formation of Ultra Micro Holding had gone through quite a long process from July 2020 to September 2021. Starting from approval from shareholders to licensing to the House of Representatives (DPR) and financial authorities.
"After many series that must be carried out, many initiatives carried out and many studies that have been completed, the Ultra Micro Holding is in front of our eyes. We all always hope that this long series can provide benefits and goodness for all of us", he said in the signing ceremony of the transfer of shares, Monday, September 13.
Various processes include the approval of the privatization committee on February 17, 2021, in consultation with the Indonesian House of Representatives on March 18, 2021. Then, the approval of BRI shareholders at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on July 22, 2021.
Then, approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on 27 August 202 until the effective statement from the capital market OJK on August 30, 2021.
The government has also issued Government Regulation Number 73 of 2021 concerning the Addition of State Capital Management to BRI's Share Capital, as well as a decision by the Minister of Finance (Minister of Finance) ) on July 16, 2021, regarding the determination of the additional value of PMN to BRI's share capital.
"During the process, there have been many initiatives and strategic steps taken by the PMO team for the realization of this Ultra Micro Holding", he said.

Catur said the formation of the Ultra Micro Holding is a manifestation of the government's commitment and vision to increase the acceleration of financial service access to the ultra micro-segment in Indonesia.
"Through the Ultra Micro holding, the business model of BRI, Pegadaian, and PMN will synergize, strengthen, complement each other so as to be able to provide integrated financial services", he explained.
