Find Students Ignoring Health Protocol, Ganjar Pranowo Grade SD Negeri 1 Wadunggetas School Not Eligible For PTM
CENTRAL JAVA - Central Java Governor, Ganjar Pranowo, found schools in Klaten Regency that held activities but did not implement health protocols. As a result, the school is considered not ready to carry out face-to-face learning (PTM).
This was discovered by Ganjar during a surprise inspection at SD Negeri 1 Wadunggetas during a sudden inspection. According to him, the COVID-19 health protocol in elementary schools is not too strict so that it has the potential to spread the virus.
"It turns out that the teacher has not been given an explanation by the (Health Department) office, the school has not, so later we will communicate with the Klaten Regency Government so that an explanation is given because this is considered not a PTM, and this is only a test", said Ganjar, Antara, Monday, September 13.
He emphasized that even though it was just an exam and not an official PTM, schools must still implement strict procedures and the role of the COVID-19 Task Force in schools was also important for supervision.
"There was even a child who just walked in without wearing a mask, that means they are not aware. Now, a task force must be prepared for this. The COVID-19 task force for every school will be so that later they can control it, from entering to returning home", he said.

Therefore, the Governor assesses the importance of applying for permits for schools before holding activities so that schools that carry out activities, whether PTM or not, are really ready schools.
"That's why we ask them for permission for every school activity or they can't do it at all. On average, when they manage like this, in practice they are not easy enough to manage. So it's in the category of not being ready, if not ready then...no may be forced", said Ganjar Pranowo.
