Now STRP No Longer Applies, Replaced With PeduliLindungi

JAKARTA - The head of the COVID-19 Task Force, Ganip Warsito, has revoked the rule for attaching a Worker Registration Certificate (STRP) as a condition for domestic travelers to use this mode of transportation.

This is stated in the Addendum to Circular Letter Number 17 of 2021 concerning Provisions for Travel of Domestic People During the COVID-19 Pandemic which was signed on September 6, 2021.

Ganip said that the decision to no longer apply the STRP was made to follow up on the current developments in handling COVID-19. Instead, travelers are required to use the government-made PeduliLindung application.

"The purpose of this circular addendum is to revoke the provision for attaching STRP and add provisions for every domestic traveler and all transportation mode operators using the PeduliLindung application", Ganip wrote in a Circular Letter quoted on Tuesday, September 7.

In its use as a requirement for travelers, PeduliLindungi functions as a platform for examining RT-PCR tests or antigen swabs whose results show negative and have been vaccinated.

Thus, the STRP requirement or assignment letter which was previously used for travelers in the agglomeration area is no longer valid.

Currently, every domestic traveler on all modes of transportation is required to use the PeduliLindung application as a condition for traveling.

"All transportation mode operators are required to use PeduliLindung to check the results of the RT-PCR test or antigen swab, which results are negative and have carried out the first dose or complete dose of vaccination for every domestic traveler when checking in", Ganip wrote.
