Bobby Nasution: The Field In Sidomulyo Was Not Evicted, But Moved 100 Meters From The Original Point

JAKARTA - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution said that the sports field in Sidomulyo Village, Medan Tuntungan Sub-district, was not evicted but moved for the purpose of building a social institution.

"I guarantee that sports facilities in the form of a field will not be evicted, but we will move it 100 meters from the original point," he said in Medan, as reported by Antara, Monday, September 6, regarding the sports field in the Turi II street area.

"In the last two weeks, I ask that the residents' field affairs can be completed," he added.

The mayor has reviewed the plan to build a social institution in Sidomulyo Village and held a dialogue with residents around the orphanage construction site.

"Sport is very positive, I support the residents to continue to use the field to be able to continue practicing. So a development that has occurred does not displace the positive ones. Thank God the residents have agreed," he said.

The mayor said the construction of the social home is targeted for completion by the end of this year.

"This initial stage is targeted for completion by the end of the year, (the orphanage) can accommodate 300 people. Later, after completion, it can fully accommodate 3,000 people," said Bobby.
