Persipura Jayapura: Innalillahi, Thank You For Your Dedication Christian Lenglolo
JAKARTA - Sad news came from Persipura Jayapura and Sriwijaya FC. One of the former players, Christian Lenglolo died.
This news was shared by the official Persipura Jayapura Instagram account, @persipurapapua1963 on Saturday, September 4 yesterday.
"Innalillahi wainna ilaihi rojiuun… We, the big family of Persipura Jayapura, are deeply saddened by the passing of the former Persipura player Christian Lenglolo," Persipura Jayapura wrote, quoted on Sunday, September 5.
"Thank you for your dedication. May Allah SWT widen your grave and give patience to the bereaved family. Amen," he wrote again.
In line with Persipura, Sriwijaya FC also expresses deep condolences for the death of Christian Lenglolo.
"It has become part of the history of Sriwijaya FC. We, the big family of Sriwijaya FC, are sorry for the passing of the legend of Laskar Wong Kito, Christian Lenglolo," said the Sriwijaya FC account.
"May all his goodness and deeds of worship be accepted by God, and the family and relatives left behind are given patience," he continued.
Christian Lenglolo is a player born in Cameroon, July 28, 1982, and has worked in Sriwijaya and Persipura. In 2005, for example, Christian Lenglolo brought Persipura to the Indonesian League champions ladder after beating Persija Jakarta 3-2 in extra time.
