JAKARTA - Deputy Regent of Banjarnegara Samsyudin ensured that public services would not be disrupted by the legal case faced by the Regent of Banjarnegara Budhi Sarwono after the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) declared suspect status.
"We, the old ones here, together with the Secretary of State (Banjarnegara Regional Secretary Indarto, ed.) are trying to maintain the stability of activities. This means that activities that are already running will continue," he said in a statement received by Antara in Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. , Sunday 5 September.
Meanwhile, for activities that have not been implemented, he said, will be carried out according to the plan that has been prepared.
Therefore, the legal case being faced by Regent Budhi Sarwono will not interfere with services for the people of Banjarnegara. "It will not (disturb), God willing," he asserted.
Furthermore, the Deputy Regent admitted that he had gathered the heads of regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to convey a message to maintain stability and not change the current performance. "Get rid of anxiety and fear to flow as usual," he said.
Regarding the pros and cons of the legal case faced by the Regent, Budhi Sarwono, he hopes that the community will become mature in responding to this matter. "We live in a long period of time and we always hear calls to live in harmony," he said.
He hopes that the euphoria that occurs in the community will not be too deep and harmony will soon emerge in the community.
As for the state civil apparatus (ASN) within the Banjarnegara Regency Government, he said his party would try to restore their confidence in understanding their main duties and functions and working as usual. "Don't be afraid, don't worry," he said.
According to him, his party has also communicated with the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo regarding the problems in Banjarnegara.
