Dense House Area In Muara Baru Scorched
JAKARTA – The red rooster crushed dozens of houses on Jalan Muara Baru Ujung, Steel Factory Gang Block H, RT 016 RW 17, Penjaringan Village, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta.
"A resident came to the post to report a fire in Muara Baru," said Head of Operations, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Agency, Abdul Wahid, Saturday, September 4.
Upon receiving the report, 17 fire engines were immediately dispatched to the location. Four of these units are aid from West Jakarta.
"The number of personnel deployed to the location is 85 people and arrived at the location at 11.35 western Indonesia time," said Wahid.

The location of the fire, which is a densely populated residential area, made it difficult for officers in the field. The new fire can be declared completely extinguished a few hours later.
"Finished the operation at 14.38 western Indonesia time with a fire area of 15 x 50 meters," continued Wahid.
Based on the investigation, the cause of the fire is suspected to be an electrical short circuit in one of the residents' houses and spread to other residents.
"Electric short circuit from a resident's house which allegedly came from Mr. Misang Daeng's house and then enlarged," he said.
As a result of this incident, as many as 30 heads of families (KK) with 120 people had to lose their homes. Meanwhile, the incident did not result in any casualties. "There were 30 houses that burned down," said Wahid.
