Police Study Mechanism Of Making Methamphetamine In Luxury Houses In Karawaci

JAKARTA - West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Ady Wibowo, said the National Police's Forensic Laboratory Center of the Criminal Investigation Department held a TKP (scene) of a methamphetamine factory in elite housing in Taman Cendana Golf, Kelapa Dua District, Tangerang Regency, Banten.

From observation, this modern-style two-story luxury house was transformed into a crystal methamphetamine factory. The police line is still visible in front of the suspect's house. Several officers are also still on guard at the site of the raid. The Iranian citizen was also taken to the crime scene.

"We are presenting the Police Headquarters Forensic Laboratory Center to check the mechanism for making methamphetamine, the chemicals used, and everything related to the manufacture of methamphetamine. We want to see how the basic ingredients are processed", said the police chief to reporters, Friday, August 3.

Ady explained, in the raid on the methamphetamine factory, his party secured 2 suspects who were foreign nationals.

"The suspect is a foreign national from Iran, for that we will coordinate with immigration-related to the crossing made by the perpetrator", he said.

The raid was the result of the development of the previous arrest of narcotics cases in the Kalideres area, West Jakarta.

"Yes, that's right, we have just managed to secure the drug laboratory (methamphetamine), the two citizens have been named as suspects", he said.
