Ministry Of Health: Regional Health Care Incentives Have Disbursed IDR 3,796 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health conveyed that the incentives for regional health workers in 2021 have been disbursed amounting to IDR 3.796 trillion or 41.3 percent of the ceiling.

"The health workers' incentive ceiling in all provinces is IDR 9.184 trillion", said Head of the Human Resources Development and Empowerment Agency (PPSDM), Ministry of Health, Kirana Pritasari quoted by Antara, Thursday, September 2.

She conveyed that the incentive payment was accelerating, whereas, on June 4, 2021, it was only 3.83 percent of the ceiling.

Kirana said that it is the duty of the provincial, district/city governments to distribute the health worker incentives because the budget is already in the local government.

"Thank you to the local government for being serious, who has tried to realize the payment because in a short time it can be accelerated", she said.

Kirana conveyed that the Ministry of Health was working with the Ministry of Home Affairs so that the payment of health workers incentives in the regions was accelerated.

"We periodically conduct monitoring per region. Several circulars have also been issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs to accelerate payments", she said.

According to her, the Ministry of Home Affairs will give a warning to the local government if it is late in making the health worker incentive payment process.

In addition, it was explained that the incentives for health workers in the regions through the additional 2020 Health Operational Assistance (BOK) had been paid off by 83.9 percent, or IDR 3.5 trillion.

"There are a remaining IDR 670 billion of funds that have not been reported to the center, with West Java having the highest remaining funds and Gorontalo having the lowest remaining funds", he said.
