Police Arrested Mountain Bike Thief Syndicate Operating 30 Times In Malang
MALANG - Malang City Police Team uncovered a mountain bike theft syndicate. This syndicate has stolen bicycles in 30 places.
The two perpetrators of the theft who were arrested had the initials AS (27) and HL (30). Both are recidivist cases of theft.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Malang City Police, Commissioner Tinton Yudho Riambodo, said the two were arrested on August 14. The police received the victim's report and conducted an investigation and arrested the perpetrator of the bicycle theft.
"The perpetrators are these two people, recidivists of the same theft case and have been released in 2018," said Tinton in his statement, Saturday, August 28.

According to the police, the two perpetrators sold stolen bicycles to Central Java. The police confiscated 15 bicycles that were still in the hands of the perpetrators.
''What we can find there are 15 units. The other bicycle units have been successfully sold at prices ranging from Rp5-6 million for the second (used) market price,'' he said.
The two perpetrators were charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 65 of the Criminal Code. They are now detained at the Malang Police.
