JAKARTA - Percha Leanpuri has indeed passed away, this gave her father, Herman Deru who is also the Governor of South Sumatra, a sincere effort. This was revealed during the seven-day tahlilan event of Percha Leanpuri, Thursday (26/8) in Palembang.
"My daughter Percha Leanpuri is very smart in managing and exploiting herself. Many people were born like her in her status. But she did not take advantage of the situation to do bad deeds. We in the family learned an extraordinary lesson," said Herman Deru.

Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from the NasDem Party faction, Percha Leanpuri, died Thursday, August 19. Percha, who was also the eldest daughter of the Governor of South Sumatra, Herman Deru, died at the age of 35 at around 17.45 western Indonesia time.
Deputy Secretary of the NasDem Party Faction DPR, Charles Meikyansah, revealed that her colleague died at the Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Central General Hospital (RSMH) Palembang, after undergoing postnatal care for her second and third children.
"The deceased died 10 days after giving birth to her two twins. From the information we received, she underwent a cesarean section on August 9 last," said Charles.
