Starting Next Month, Medan Government Holds Vaccination At The Environmental Level
MEDAN - The Medan City Government, North Sumatra, is holding a COVID-19 vaccination in the smallest area, namely the environmental level, which is scheduled for early September 2021.
"For two months from September 1 to October. This environmental level vaccination does not interfere with the supply of vaccines for the city of Medan", said the Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution in Medan, as reported by Antara, Thursday, August 26.
This environmental level vaccination, he continued, would increase the number of doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to be distributed by the central government to the capital city of North Sumatra Province.
The mayor admitted that his party cooperated with H Adam Malik Central General Hospital and PT XL Axiata to realize environmental vaccination by targeting 500 doses per day.
PT XL Axiata as a cellular telecommunications company in the country wishes to collaborate with the Medan City Government to carry out the Rising Indonesia Vaccination Center Program in Medan City.
"Our target is 500 doses per day for two months which are carried out in turns at the neighborhood level because the number of people being vaccinated is still low", said Bobby.
