Coordinating Minister Airlangga: Regulations For 34 Regencies/Cities Outside Java-Bali With Level 4 Status Are Regulated By The Ministry Of Home Affairs
JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto emphasized that the government will continue to apply the Level 4 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in 34 regions outside Java-Bali until September 6, 2021.
In addition, Airlangga also said that there were 11 regencies/cities that had their PPKM status down from level 4 to level 3. Meanwhile, the eleven regions were North Bengkulu, Merangin, Barito Kuala, West Tulang Bawang, South Lampung, West Lampung. Then, Ende, Sikka, Siak, Rokan Hulu, Dumai City.
"The 34 regencies and cities that remain at level 4 will be further regulated in the Inmendagri (Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs) regarding the extension outside Java-Bali from August 24 to September 6 in detail", he said at a press conference on Monday night, August 23.
On this occasion, Airlangga also said that the government is now utilizing six PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Pelni) fleets as a centralized isolation location for COVID-19 patients.

"The number of beds available is 3.596 beds with six ships spread across the archipelago", he said.
The six ships were placed in Medan with KM Bukit Raya with a capacity of 463 beds, Lampung with KM Lawit with 437 beds, Makassar KM Umsini with 849 beds.
Then, in Bitung with a fleet of 458 beds, Sorong with KM Sirimau with 460 beds, and in Jayapura with KM Tidar with a capacity of 929 beds.
