Bina Marga Denies Kelapa Gading-Pulo Gebang Toll Road Will Be The Cause Of Congestion
JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Highways Agency Hari Nugroho said that the Kelapa Gading-Pulo Gebang Inner City Toll Road, which has been officially opened, would not cause congestion. This is because the West Boulevard Road section under the toll road will be widened.
"If it adds to the congestion, we will build the arteries below it. So it will be wider because there is a toll road above it", Hari told reporters, Monday, August 23.
By widening the road section, there will be no congestion. Moreover, in the process of making the Kelapa Gading-Pulo Gebang toll road section, certain studies have been carried out.
"Of course, it is estimated that there will be a point of congestion at which point. Hopefully, it will not happen because there has been an old study and this has been done since a few years ago", he said.
