Because Of A Pet Duck, The Policeman Was Shot Dead By His Family In Deli Serdang
MEDAN - A police officer named Aiptu Josmer Samsuardi Manurung (42) died in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.
Aiptu Josmer was allegedly shot dead by his family member named Yones Siondihon Naibaho (20) at his home on Kebun Sayur Street, Gang Melati, Limau Manis Village, Tanjung Morawa District.
The victim is a member of the North Sumatra Police's Drug Investigation Directorate. Based on the information obtained, this shooting was carried out because the perpetrator was reprimanded by the victim of the duck problem.
"The motive is because the victim reprimanded the suspect, about 100 of his pet ducks died", said Deli Serdang Police Chief, Kombes Yemi Mandagi, Thursday, August 19.
According to Yemi, the suspect is a guard and caretaker of the ducks raised by the victim.
"The 100 ducks that were farmed dead belonged to the victim, the suspect was the caretaker and caretaker of the ducks", said Yemi.
As a result of being reprimanded, said Yemi, the victim was angry with the suspect. The suspect then took the gun and shot the victim.
"Yes, it is true (the suspect took the victim's weapon)", he said.
Yemi said the suspect had now been arrested. The weapons used have also been seized.
"Everything has been secured at the Deli Serdang Police Criminal Investigation Unit", he explained.
It is known, the incident began when the victim was cleaning his firearm in a standing position in front of the cupboard when the suspect suddenly came from behind.

Furthermore, the suspect intended to dispose of the victim's body, but was unable to ask neighbors for help while holding his firearm. Residents refused until the suspect was arrested.
The victim's body was then taken to the North Sumatra Police Bhayangkara Hospital.
