Police Arrest Cockfighting And Fair Ball Gambling Players, One Suspect Is Isolated Due To COVID-19

BULELENG - The Buleleng Police Team, Bali, arrested the organizer of the cockfighting and fair ball gambling during the PPKM (Community Activity Restrictions) level 4 period, at the Banjar Dinas Ambengan.

The perpetrators who were arrested had the initials KS, WS, BD, GA. They were immediately taken to the Buleleng Police Headquarters, Bali, after the raid.

"There have been prosecutions and arrests of perpetrators of cockfighting and fair soccer gambling. Evidence of cockfighting and fair soccer gambling has been acknowledged as belonging to the suspect KS", said Head of the Public Relations Subsection of the Buleleng Police, Iptu Gede Sumarjaya, Wednesday, August 18.

Suspect KS is the organizer of the cockfighting and soccer betting fair which was held on Sunday, August 15. At that time, cockfighting gambling caused a crowd.

While the evidence that was secured was 3 chickens, a chicken knife or spur, a fair soccer table, and IDR 435,000 in cash.

"Against the perpetrators of KS, centralized isolation was carried out in the Bali Mandara school building, Buleleng, because the results of the rapid antigen test showed the suspect was positive for COVID-19", he said.
