Prince Charles And Princess Diana's First Appearance In 'The Crown 5'

JAKARTA - The streaming service Netflix has released the first look at the characters of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Different from the previous season, this time both characters are played by Dominic West and Elizabeth Debicki.

Tuesday, August 17, the two photos show the two looking confused. Charles in his 40s is seen standing looking to his right while Princess Diana in her 30s is wearing a pink top on the sofa.

The Crown series tells the story of the British Empire during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. The story continues to grow until this fifth season where the story focuses on the keypad of the late '80s to '90s.

It is not yet known whether Princess Diana's tragic accident in France in 1997 is also included in this story.

Debicki replaces Emma Corrin who plays Princess Diana in season four as she meets and marries young Prince Charles (Josh O' Connor) and faces her growing popularity.

At that time, Diana was also told to have an eating disorder and an illicit relationship with James Hewitt (Daniel Donskoy). This is done after he finds out Prince Charles has a relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles (Emerald Fennel).

In addition to them, The Crown season five also stars Imelda Staunton, Jonathan Pryce, Lesley Manville, and Jonny Lee Miller.
