Police Slasher At Awayan Balangan Police Office Of South Kalimantan Arrested, Perpetrators Had Time To Flee To The Forest
BANJARMASIN - The perpetrator of the stabbing of a police officer from the Awayan Police, Balangan, South Kalimantan was arrested. The arrest of the perpetrator with the initials NY (25) was carried out by a joint team.
The incident began when NY was escorted by his family to the Awayan Police Station for slashing a resident who was also a neighbor. Arriving at the Awayan Police, the perpetrator pulled out a sharp weapon.
"After attacking by slashing the perpetrator's sharp weapon, the perpetrator immediately fled into the forest. Furthermore, the victim (a member of the Awayan Police Sector) who at that time suffered 3 stab wounds in the head area was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment," said the statement from the Jatanras Ditreskrimum of the South Kalimantan Police in a written statement, Saturday, August 14.
From this incident, the joint team of the South Kalimantan Tigers, the Jatanras Polres Balangan, and the Awayan Police Sector team chased the perpetrator into the forest.

The perpetrator had stolen a motorcycle and headed for the village of Banyu Panas. But the perpetrator returned to the forest when the police chased him.
"The perpetrator was successfully arrested while at his parents' house in Kambiayin Village, Balangan," continued the statement from the South Kalimantan Regional Police Office.
The machete and the kampong belonging to the perpetrators were also confiscated. The perpetrators were taken to the Balangan Police Station.
