National Armed Force Commander Sends 100 Oxygen Cylinders To The Bangka Belitung Provincial Government
PANGKALPINANG - National Armed Force (TNI) Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto assisted the Provincial Government of the Bangka Belitung Islands with 100 oxygen concentrator cylinders to assist hospitals in handling COVID-19 patients.
"Tomorrow Saturday, the TNI Commander will hand over oxygen directly to the local government", said Commander of the HAS Hanandjoeddin Belitung Air Base, Lieutenant Colonel Nav Rudy Hartono at Depati Amir Pangkalpinang Airport, quoted by Antara, Friday, August 13.
He said the oxygen concentrator aid from the TNI Commander used the CN 295 TNI Army aircraft to arrive at Depati Amir Airport in Pangkalpinang to assist the handling of COVID-19 patients at three hospitals in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
"The 100 cylinders of oxygen will be distributed to hospitals in Bangka Island with 50 tubes and 50 tubes in Belitung Island", he said.
According to him, in the distribution of oxygen assistance for handling COVID-19 patients, it will be handed over to the Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Health Office, however, it is certain that this oxygen aid will be handed over to Ir Soekarno Air Anyir Bangka Hospital, Depati Hamzah Pangkalpinang Hospital, and Depati Bahrin Hospital Bangka.
"What is clear tomorrow is that the TNI Commander will be here and will symbolically hand over the oxygen concentrator aid to the regional government", he said.

With this oxygen assistance, it is certainly very helpful for hospitals in meeting the high oxygen needs of COVID-19 patients.
"Currently this assistance is needed by hospitals to be able to help patients affected by COVID-19 and it is hoped that this assistance can reduce the death rate of patients confirmed by the coronavirus in Bangka Belitung", he said.
