Sad News From Garut, A Total Of 1,139 People Died Due To COVID-19
JAKARTA - The Garut Regency COVID-19 Task Force, West Java revealed, the number of deaths from COVID-19 patients in the local area increased by three people. So that the total is now 1,139 people from 23,825 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.
"It has been reported that there have been three more confirmed cases of confirmed COVID-19 deaths", said Yeni Yunita, Public Relations Officer of the Garut Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force in Garut, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, August 11.
She mentioned that the COVID-19 patients who died were two men aged 59 years, residents of Bungbulang District, and 43 years old residents of Karangpawitan District, as well as a 47-year-old woman, resident of Tarogong Kidul District.
She said, overall COVID-19 patients died in Garut Regency as of Tuesday, August 10 as many as 1,139 people.

Meanwhile, active cases of positive COVID-19 patients who are still undergoing isolation, said Yeni, continue to show a decline which to date is 492 people.
"As many as 343 cases of self-isolation, 149 cases of isolation in hospitals, as many as 22,194 cases recovered", she said.
She conveyed that the transmission of the COVID-19 outbreak in Garut Regency was still happening, every day it was reported that several people were confirmed positive for COVID-19.
New cases were confirmed positive for COVID-19 until Tuesday, August 10, said Yeni, who reported that the results of swab tests by medical officers in the field recorded 39 cases spread across several sub-districts.
"Positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been monitored, increasing by 76 people", she said.
