Feeling Cheated By Barcelona About Messi, Aguero Wants To Leave Immediately

JAKARTA - Sergio Aguero wants to leave Barcelona this summer after his chance to play with Lionel Messi was dashed this week.

The Catalan club bought the forward for free when his contract at Manchester City expired recently.

Aguero is one of several free agents to move to the Nou Camp, but instead, he is already looking for a way out.

Aguero has played alongside Messi on the international stage and the two enjoy such a strong bond as Argentina's core players.

But after it was announced that the six-time Ballon d'Or winner would be leaving the Nou Camp, Aguero felt like he had been betrayed by Barcelona.

According to media outlet 'La Porteria', the former City player has now instructed his lawyer to analyze his contract in a bid to secure an early exit. They also added that Agüero judged that "his future at Barça doesn't look good".

"Of course I hope to play with Lionel. I know him well, we are good friends," Aguero said after signing for Barca.

"What happened with Leo was a decision he and the club made. It was an honor to play with him. I played with him in the national team," added Aguero.

Things around Messi have developed rapidly and PSG wasted no time in signing him once declared a free player by Barca.

A move to Paris is expected to move closer to the 40 million euros-a-year net salary offered to the Argentine. The contract will also allow him to play with Neymar once again.

Barcelona's problems do not seem to end with Messi's departure because financial problems are now getting more complicated. The main sponsors, Rakuten and Beko, have asked for an explanation and contract reduction from Barcelona due to the departure of Messi.

President Joan Laporta, previously hinted at his intention to keep Messi. But now he claims that keeping the striker will jeopardize the club's finances for half a century.

"I can't make decisions that will affect the club for 50 years," Laporta said as quoted by mirrornews.co.uk.

“This club is over 100 years old and is above everyone and everything, even the best players in the world. We will always be grateful to him for everything he has done for us," Laporta said.

"To play fair, we need to do this or make efforts that will harm the club. We cannot continue this and we need to make a decision, which we have," said Laporta.
