JAMBI - The Jambi Province COVID-19 Task Force announced that 19 COVID-19 patients in Jambi Province had died as of this Thursday, July 29. Thus, the total number of patients who died amounted to 406 people.
"Today, 19 COVID-19 patients have died, bringing the total number of Jambi Province COVID-19 patients who died to 406", said Jambi Province COVID-19 Task Force spokesman Johansyah in Jambi, as reported by Antara.
Patients who died spread across a number of districts. The details are 10 people in Merangin Regency, 3 people in Tebo Regency, and 2 people in Batanghari Regency. Then in Jambi City, East Tanjab Kerinci and Sungai Penuh City 1 person each.
Of the eleven regencies and cities in Jambi Province, the most COVID-19 patients who died were in Jambi City, which amounted to 129 people. Then in Merangin Regency 62 people and in Batanghari Regency 57 people.
In addition to COVID-19 patients who died today, there were also 385 Jambi residents who were confirmed positive for COVID-19. So that the total number of confirmed COVID-19 patients in Jambi to date is 19.579 people.
And 159 COVID-19 patients in Jambi today were declared cured. Thus, the total number of COVID-19 patients who have been declared in Jambi Province is 14.194 people.

Meanwhile, the COVID-19 risk map for districts and cities in Jambi Province for the period 19-25 July 2021 states that Jambi City is a COVID-19 red zone or a high-risk zone for COVID-19 transmission.
Then the City of Sungai Penuh, Bungo, Tebo, Merangin, Sarolangun, Batanghari, Muaro Jambi and West Tanjab districts are in the COVID-19 orange zone or the moderate risk zone for COVID-19 transmission. Kerinci and East Tanjab regencies are in the COVID-19 yellow zone or low-risk zone for COVID-19 transmission.
