Indramayu Police Arrest Health Center Officer Fake Antigen Test Letter
INDRAMAYU - The Criminal Investigation Division of the Indramayu Police, West Java, arrested a public health officer who falsified a letter of antigen swab test results for the benefit of residents at a rate of IDR 100,000-IDR 150,000 per sheet.
"The suspect who wrote the fake antigen swab test results that we arrested with the initials WI (45) is an honorary officer at the Sukra Health Center, Indramayu Regency", said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indramayu Police, AKP Luthfi Olot Gigantara, quoted by Antara, Monday, July 26.
AKP Luthfi said the case of counterfeiting the antigen test results was revealed from the officers' investigations in the field following information related to WI's actions.
WI is known to have practiced writing fake antigen swab test results since three months ago and the number of its service users is still unknown.
"This disclosure is the result of an investigation after we received information and the member disguised himself as one of the orderers", he said.
According to AKP Luthfi, from the results of the examination, it was revealed that residents ordered fake letters for various purposes.
"There are orders for travel, work, going to school, and others. When someone orders, the suspect immediately accepts in exchange for the agreed money", he said.

From the hands of WI, he said, the police confiscated a set of computers and printers and 40 photocopies of ID cards of residents who were suspected to be 'orderers' of fake antigen test results.
For his actions, WI was charged with Article 263 of the Criminal Code with a maximum sentence of six years in prison.
"We are still developing the case. We are also examining several witnesses to reveal more about the forgery case", said AKP Luthfi.
