The Government Changes The Nickname Of Emergency PPKM To Level 4 PPKM, Here Are The Rules
JAKARTA - Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian has issued Minister of Home Affairs Instruction Number 22 of 2021 regarding PPKM Level 4 COVID-19 in the Java and Bali Regions.
The Inmendagri is a regulation regarding the extension of the Emergency PPKM until July 25 which was announced yesterday by President Joko Widodo. However, the term PPKM Emergency was changed to PPKM Level 4.
"Following on the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia who instructed him to carry out PPKM Level 4 COVID-19 in the Java and Bali regions in accordance with the criteria for the level of the pandemic situation based on the assessment," Tito wrote, quoted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Wednesday, July 21.
In general, the rules for implementing and monitoring mobility restrictions in PPKM Level 4 are the same as those for Emergency PPKM. In addition, local governments are also asked to accelerate the distribution of social assistance.
The following are PPKM Level 4 rules:
1. Implementation of teaching and learning activities in schools, colleges, academies, where education/training is conducted online.
2. Non-essential sector companies are required to apply 100 percent work from home or work from home (WFH).
3. Essential sector companies can operate at a maximum capacity of 50 percent. Meanwhile, critical sector companies can operate 100 percent.
4. Supermarkets, traditional markets, grocery stores, and supermarkets that sell daily necessities are limited to operating hours until 20.00 local time and with a capacity of 50 percent of visitors.
5. Pharmacies and drug stores can be open 24 hours.
6. Food stalls, restaurants, cafes, street vendors, hawker stalls, only accept delivery/take away and do not accept food on the spot.
7. Shopping centers or malls are temporarily closed, except for access to restaurants, supermarkets and supermarkets.
8. The implementation of construction activities for public infrastructure can operate 100 percent by implementing strict health protocols.
9. Places of worship such as mosques, prayer rooms, churches, temples, temples, and pagodas do not hold congregational worship/religious activities during PPKM and optimize worship at home.
10. Public facilities such as public areas, public parks, public tourist attractions, and other public areas are temporarily closed.
11. Arts, culture, sports, and social activities that can cause crowds and crowds are temporarily closed.
12. Public transportation (public transportation, mass transportation, conventional and online taxis, and rental vehicles) can operate with a maximum capacity setting of 70 percent by implementing strict health protocols.
13. The implementation of the wedding reception is abolished during the implementation of PPKM.
14. Domestic travelers who use private cars, motorbikes, long-distance public transportation (airplanes, buses, ships, trains) must show a vaccine card (at least the first dose of vaccination); shows H-2 PCR results for aircraft and H-1 antigens for private cars, motorcycles, buses, trains, and ships.
15. Wear a mask correctly and consistently when leaving the house and not allowed to use a face shield without wearing a mask.
16. The implementation of the Micro PPKM in the red zone RT/RW remains in effect.
