Exposed To COVID-19, Gibran Remains Working 24 Hours For Solo Citizens
JAKARTA - Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka was exposed to COVID-19. But Gibran insists he is still working on his job while self-isolating.
Gibran has been in self-isolation since Monday, July 12. After being tested positive for COVID-19, he immediately separated himself and underwent isolation.
“I am still working, as usual, signing official memorandums, coordinating with staff, and meeting. I do everything via zoom", said Gibran as quoted by ERA.id, Wednesday, July 14.
Gibran is still coordinating with the provincial and central governments.
"This morning I was also still zooming in with Mr. Luhut and Mr. Health Minister and the Minister of Public Works and Housing", he explained.
Currently, Gibran admits that he is in good health and is still monitoring the work from afar. I still work 24 hours for Solo residents", he said. Gibran said every day, he worked normally. It's just that for activities in the field, currently more Deputy Mayor Teguh Prakosa and Regional Secretary of Solo City Ahyani are taking to the field.
"Perhaps now Mr. Teguh and Mr. Yani are taking to the field", he said.

Meanwhile, the Regional Secretary for the City of Solo, Ahyani, said that currently there is no work being disturbed even though Gibran is currently in isolation. Because work can be done online and almost all staff are used to this.
“It's okay. No one is bothered. Everything can still be done online. Even if there is something that must be signed, it will be taken to the isolation place (Gibran)", Ahyani said.
