Coalition Of Counterfeiters Of COVID-19 Test Letters Arrested, Some Ordered Positive Corona Results So They Didn't Come To Work
JAKARTA - The police arrested two groups of counterfeiting of COVID-19 antigen test and vaccination certificates. One of these groups receives a positive or negative result order.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said the group that received the order consisted of two people. Both had the initials NBP and NJ.
"It's not just negative orders. But there have also been orders for positive ones," Yusri told reporters, Tuesday, July 13.
Based on the examination, it is known that people usually order positive results to be used as an excuse for not working. This group also sells prices ranging from Rp. 170 thousand to Rp. 180 thousand.
"What kind of request he makes, but this (group) is a specialist in PCR and antigen swab only," said Yusri.
"The person in question offers to other people. The mode is through FB," he continued.
The second group, continued Yusri, involved two suspects with the initials NI and NFA. Not much different, they also falsified antigen swab and PCR certificates.
But this group didn't just falsify documents related to COVID-19. This is because they can fake their identity cards and driver's licenses (SIM).
"He can make fake documents, both PCR, antigen swab. Even ID cards, driver's licenses, all of which he can fake at a specified rate," said Yusri.
To falsify a swab letter, this group set a price of Rp. 100,000, PCR at Rp. 300 thousand, and the vaccine at Rp. 200 thousand. The suspect's ability to forge letters belonged to the suspect because he had worked at a printing company.
"Since March 2021 they have been playing. Including how many letters he still issued, we are still collecting," said Yusri.
In this case, the suspects are charged with Article 263 of the Criminal Code or Article 268 of the Criminal Code, as well as Article 35 in conjunction with the ITE Law with a maximum threat of 6 years in prison.
