Remember! The Government Still Runs Free COVID-19 Vaccinations Even If There Are Paid Ones
JAKARTA - Special Staff to the Minister of SOEs Arya Sinulingga explained that the government will continue to run a free vaccination program even though there is a paid vaccine service run by Kimia Farma and Biofarma.
According to him, the policy is an alternative to accelerate the implementation of the national vaccination program and target group immunity.
"The government's free vaccines are still running. All locations of free vaccines can be accessed by the public," said Arya Sinulingga, quoted by Antara, Sunday, July 12.
Arya explained that paid vaccinations were part of the mutual cooperation vaccination program because previously only legal companies were allowed to provide them for employees.
The government opens mutual cooperation vaccinations for individuals to accelerate acceleration.
"The aim is to speed up the implementation of vaccinations. People have more choices," said Arya.
Kimia Farma Corporate Secretary Change Winarno emphasized that the government's free vaccination program will not be disrupted even though there is a paid vaccine.

"The implementation of this mutual cooperation vaccination is open to anyone or any party with a record of having requirements as a vaccination health facility," said Bambang.
The distribution locations for paid vaccines are at eight points, namely Kimia Farma Senen, Pulogadung, and Blok M clinics in Jakarta.
Then, Kimia Farma Supratman clinic in Bandung, Kimia Farma Citarum clinic in Semarang, Kimia Farma Sukoharjo clinic in Solo, Kimia Farma Sedati clinic in Surabaya, and Kimia Farma Batubulan clinic in Bali.
Based on government regulations, the price of paid vaccine per dose is Rp321,660 plus the service price of Rp117,910 so that the price per dose of vaccine charged to beneficiaries is Rp439,570 per dose.
Each person gets two injections, so the price for the complete package of paid vaccines reaches Rp879,140 per individual.
Kimia Farma will open access for people who want to buy the paid Sinopharm vaccine starting Monday, July 12.
