Prevent Crowds, Rangkasbitung Market And Square Closed
JAKARTA - The Rangkasbitung Market and Square, Lebak Regency, Banten were closed during the implementation of the Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) to prevent crowds that could potentially spread COVID-19.
"We ask residents to comply with the closure of the crowded place as long as the Emergency PPKM is implemented," said the commander of the COVID-19 Task Force (Satgas) for the Lebak Dartim Regency, in Lebak, as reported by Antara, Saturday, July 10.
The Lebak Regency COVID-19 Task Force officers worked hard to supervise during the implementation of the Emergency PPKM, to carry out mask raids and blockades at the border.
Vehicles from outside are turned over if the driver and passenger are not equipped with the results of the antigen swab test from their area.
In addition, officers also disperse locations that have the potential for crowds to occur.
Supervision carried out in an effort to support community discipline to comply with Emergency PPKM by not crowding.
So far, he said, crowds have become clusters of COVID-19 transmission. Therefore, the market and Rangkasbitung Square were closed during the Emergency PPKM.
"We are with the TNI and the police guarding the location of the market and the square so that there are no crowds to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19," he emphasized.
