Following Anies' Steps, Deputy Governor Riza Also Checks And Closes The Office For Violating The Emergency PPKM In Rasuna Said

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Riza Patria conducted an impromptu inspection at the MBA Consult office located on Jalan HR Rasuna Said, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

Previously, on Tuesday, July 6, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan also visited the offices in the Sahid Sudirman Center building, namely Ray White Indonesia and PT Equity Life Indonesia.

In her Instagram account, Riza said that MBA Consult violated the Emergency PPKM rules. Riza did an inspection at the MBA Consult office based on reports from the public.

"This is an example of an office that we were forced to act on and we were given sanctions for violating the Emergency PPKM rules when we checked yesterday as a follow-up to public reports. The name of the office is MBA CONSULT on Jl. HR. Rasuna Said Kav. B6, Kelurahan Setiabudi, South Jakarta," Riza said on Thursday, July 8.

Riza said that the company, which is engaged in financial management services, violated the limitation on employee capacity and other regulations.

"This office does not apply a capacity limit for the number of people in the workplace at the same time. In fact, it was found that four employees at the workplace were exposed to COVID-19 and had not quarantined for 3x24 hours," he said.

Therefore, the DKI Provincial Government imposed a temporary closure for 3x24 hours to the MBA Consult office. "We do not hesitate to impose sanctions up to the revocation of permits if they still commit violations," he said.

It was previously known that Anies Baswedan broadcast a video of himself carrying out impromptu inspections (sidak) in a number of offices in the capital city and imposed a temporary closure.

In uploading a video on his Instagram, Anies inspected two non-essential offices in the Sahid Sudirman Center building. Anies entered the offices of Ray White Indonesia and PT Equity Life Indonesia and found that there were employees working in the offices.

"I ask everyone, don't imitate what happened, we just saw," said Anies

"These are irresponsible people. People who choose to make their employees take risks. This violation is not just a violation of regulations made by the government, but this is a violation of humanitarian responsibility," he continued.
